Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Work independently in pediatric facility performing CT scans for pediatric trauma cases
• Daily caseload ratio of 1.5:1
• Float to other buildings within scope as needed
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 40 hours of orientation required
• 1 year of experience preferred, first-timers accepted with experience
• Must have trauma level 1 experience and children's hospital experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), ARRT Advanced Cert., SC license
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Must perform procedures including abdomen scans, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and interventional radiology procedures
• Experience required with paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Daily census of 10 patients in 1 room facility
• Dress code: Teal top and black bottom scrubs
• Use Epic charting system
• Agency must supply radiation badge

The facility operates as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing specialized care for critically ill children. The hospital offers advanced imaging services including routine studies, outpatient procedures, and interventional radiology services using state-of-the-art Siemens equipment.
