Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• 38-bed unit with daily census of 35 patients
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request permitted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Charting system experience required; Altera experience preferred
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• License in hand required with submittal
• Must live at least 150 miles from facility (case-by-case exceptions for 50+ miles)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Skills include: telemetry monitoring, IV management, cardiac drips, wound care, post-cardiac procedures, and various medical/surgical nursing competencies
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
