Description
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week schedule
• Contract length of 16 weeks preferred, minimum 13 weeks accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:2 patients
• Every other weekend requirement
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Will float within service line when needed
• Must have 2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
• Pending Missouri license accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Care for patients with acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, post cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheters, pacemakers, Impellas, balloon pumps, LVADs
• Handle vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, dialysis
• Time off restrictions: maximum 2 requests totaling no more than 40 hours during contract
• Monthly parking passes required ranging from $63-$73

This is a comprehensive healthcare system featuring a 1,266-bed short-term acute care facility with Magnet designation and teaching hospital status. The facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center providing advanced cardiovascular intensive care services with 24/7 specialty support. The CVICU unit has 20 beds with a daily census of 14 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
