Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans
• Work independently with sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
• Deliver accurate results in a timely manner while ensuring patient safety
• Shift may start anytime between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM - flexibility required
• Patient ratio: 5 patients per shift
• Daily census: 50 patients
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must have 2 years of experience minimum
• Travel experience required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, California state license (all must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submission)
• MUST have experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skills required include: Benign Brain Tumors, Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Respiratory Gating, and Vision RT
• Complete orientation modules (1-5 hours average, completed through e-learning)
• 50-mile travel requirement from residence to facility
• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
