Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with variable shift times of either 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
• No weekend coverage or on-call requirements
• Provide pre-operative care including patient assessment, IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, glucose monitoring, and blood draws
• Execute physician orders and prepare patients for surgery
• Recover patients in PACU and ACU settings
• Discharge patients to units or home following surgery
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• May float to ambulatory care unit and other CPMC locations if census is low
• Care for patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics
• Previous charge experience required
• 2 years of PACU/ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS
• California RN licensure required
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Complete orientation modules averaging 1-5 hours through e-learning system
• 7-year work history verification required

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
