Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour variable shifts Monday through Friday
• Shift times: 0600-1630 or 1130-2200
• No weekends or on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• Responsible for pre-operative patient preparation including assessment, IV insertion, foley insertion, glucose checks, blood draws, and executing physician orders
• Discharge patients to unit or home after surgery
• Recover patients in PACU and ACU settings
• Care for adolescents, adults, and pediatric patients
• May float to ambulatory care unit and other locations if census is low
• 2 years of PACU/ICU experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS
• California RN licensure required at time of submission
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 50 mile travel requirement with locals accepted at local rate
• Complete orientation modules averaging 1-5 hours through e-learning

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
