Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work in Main 11 West Neuroscience PCU Unit
• 34-bed unit with 6 progressive and 15 total telemetry patients
• Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 30.5
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Skills required: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• BSN preferred
• Float within scope if needed
• Natural nail policy enforced
• Complete 6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation week
• 2 references required
• One year minimum before return eligibility if previously employed

This major medical center features a comprehensive neuroscience progressive care unit that serves as a primary destination for neurology, neurosurgery, and ENT patients. The facility provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The unit specializes in treating patients with stroke, seizures, dementia, neuromuscular disorders, head/neck/back trauma, and various surgical procedures, with capability to handle stable ventilator patients in progressive care.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
