Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (1st timers are accepted)
• Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1:4 across all shifts
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
• Additional certifications preferred: CPI, TNCC, ENPC
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Work every other weekend
• Floating required
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off
• Holiday work required based on assignment period
• 12 hours of orientation
• Skills include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and triage
• Work with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Handle approximately 250 patient visits per day in 59-room emergency department
• Full compliance required to start on time
