Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• First time travelers welcome
• 2 years of experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:3 consistently
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: NRP, PALS
• Emergency department experience with STEMI/Stroke facility background required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• MedHost charting system experience required
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle patient diagnoses including CHF, pneumonia, psychiatric conditions, UTI, hypertension, DKA, stroke, and myocardial infarction
• Work with specialized equipment including Ranger Blood/Fluid Warmer, Bair Hugger, Blanket Warmer, and Baxter Spectrum IV pumps
• Participate in trauma communications and AR Saves protocols
• Daily census of approximately 30 patients across 12 rooms/beds
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
