Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed
• Standard patient ratios of 1:3 across all shifts
• First time travelers welcome
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous charge RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: NRP, PALS
• ED experience with STEMI/Stroke facility experience required
• MedHost charting system experience required
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle various patient diagnoses including CHF, pneumonia, psychiatric conditions, UTI, hypertension, DKA, CVA, and MI
• Work with specialized equipment including Ranger Blood/Fluid Warmer, Bair Hugger, Blanket Warmer, and Baxter Spectrum IV pumps
• Perform trauma communications and AR Saves procedures
• Daily census of 30 patients with 12 rooms and 12 beds available
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
