Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios ideally 1:4 during days and 1:5 during nights
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as determined by unit requirements
• Work on a 40-bed unit with 20 beds on McCann unit featuring single rooms with telemetry capability
• Care for adult and geriatric patients including primary COVID patients
• Required to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and work with telemetry monitoring
• Titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin
• 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)
• First-time travelers with 2-3 years experience and Epic or Cerner experience will be considered
• Massachusetts state license required and must be valid at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Any color scrubs acceptable (no jean material)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred but not required
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
