Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work 5 x 8 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN, NT Nuchal Translucency certification must be in hand at time of start
• Will consider travelers without NT certification as long as they have experience conducting these scans
• Required skills: Nuchal Translucency Screen, Adult, High Risk OB, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics
• Preferred skills: General Ultrasound, Amniocentesis, GE Anatomy scans
• Will accept first time travelers
• No float requirement
• DC license required in hand at time of submission
• Work in high volume Perinatal Center performing ultrasounds on OB patients, many high-risk with fetal abnormalities
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients with 5 rooms available
• 8-hour orientation provided
• Charting system: Cerner
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract
• Complete labs and drug screen within 48 hours of signing

The facility provides short-term acute care services and maintains a high-volume Perinatal Center specializing in obstetric ultrasounds for high-risk patients with fetal abnormalities. The hospital utilizes Cerner charting systems and offers comprehensive medical services with advanced technology and specialized departments.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
