Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Wednesday shift is 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
• May need to cover 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM shift when second shift technician takes time off
• No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Handle approximately 20 visits per day with patient ratio of 2 during days
• Work with patients of all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, extremities, and specialized imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
• Utilize specialized equipment including surface coils and Hoyer lifts
• Work with PACS system and perform image post-processing
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, BLS, NY state license, and MRI certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement
• Must be willing to float to other departments as needed
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 10 hours total, with 5 hours billable)
