Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work as a Whole House Resource Pool RN floating between ICU, PCU, and MS units
• 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 3x12s or 4x12s available by request
• Contract lengths available from 13-52 weeks
• Must be comfortable working all three specialties with patient ratios up to 1:5
• Float assignments re-evaluated every 4 hours, may float 2-3 times per shift
• Weekend requirement of every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• 24-hour orientation provided
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience from large Level I/Level II facility required
• Patient ratios: ICU 2:1, PCU 5:1, MS 6:1 (may flex to 7:1)
• Must be skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, arterial line management, central line care
• Experience required with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, cardiac monitoring
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, titrating cardiac drips, emergency response
• Capable of managing continuous IV sedation and vasoactive medications
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
