Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• 2 years of PreOp/PACU experience required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• Care for patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 70-80 patients with 34 rooms and beds available
• No weekends or holidays required
• No on-call requirements
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Epic charting system experience highly preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Skills include pre-op assessment and education, post-operative care, pain management, conscious sedation monitoring, emergency medications, and various surgical specialties
• Experience with Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• 50 miles travel requirement applies
• Two references from within the last year required
• Background check policy requires disclosure of any hits or DUIs prior to submission
