Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Holiday obligations required
• On-call responsibilities: 11-12 days per month including approximately every 3rd weekend call
• 13-week assignment duration
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Missouri RN license or Compact state license required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Cerner charting system experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• May float to competent units within facility
• Must complete HealthStream modules pre-start (non-billable)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, robotic surgery, and TAVR
• Skills include administration of blood products, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, scrubbing for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, and operating specialized equipment like Da Vinci surgical systems
• Must maintain timely completion of all assigned modules throughout assignment duration
