Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in medical surgical telemetry unit at a community hospital
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Self-scheduling available
• 72-hour orientation period with required modules to be completed by Friday of orientation week
• Float within scope as needed
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed (no time off granted during first week of assignment)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EPIC charting experience required
• VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Natural nail policy enforced
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Manage 44-bed unit with 54 rooms
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips management, wound care, IV management, blood product administration, and various specialized procedures
• Return staff policy requires one-year absence before returning as traveler
