Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• Float within scope to meet facility needs - same expectation as staff nurses, agency floats first
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Scrubs must be royal blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Guaranteed hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Hurricane season assignment may include emergency response team duties from June through November
• Pre-start modules required (average 4 hours, non-billable)

The facility utilizes Epic charting system and maintains high standards for critical care nursing.
