Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Manager will accept 3x12 or 4x12 shift schedules
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Med/Surg experience required with telemetry experience preferred
• Must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 28 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date (average 4 hours, non-billable)
• Attendance at staff meetings required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with variety of medical-surgical diagnoses
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Contract may be cancelled after 2 call outs without documented medical reason
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds with 41 rooms and maintains a daily census of 36 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
