Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Work 5x8 day shifts in the operating room
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, with eye experience highly desired
• Must have conscious sedation monitoring experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
• California state nursing license required at time of submission
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Facility has 6 operating rooms with 22 beds and daily census of 40
• Extensive surgical experience required including general OR, ambulatory OR, laparoscopic procedures, orthopedic/spine cases, and various specialty surgeries
• Must be proficient in conscious sedation monitoring, starting peripheral IVs, wound management, and specimen handling
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services and radiology
• Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours completed through e-learning
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 50-mile travel requirement from assignment location

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
