Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other Saturday/Sunday weekend requirement with holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float occasionally to other units as needed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Epic experience, travel experience
• PALS required within 180 days of hire
• TNCC required within 180 days of hire
• NIHSS required within 90 days
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Provide direct patient care, assessment, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to adult patients in acute care setting
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual factors
• Maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 44-bed intensive care unit with a daily census of 40 patients, providing comprehensive critical care services to adult patients. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records system for comprehensive patient documentation and care coordination.
