Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts schedule - FIRM requirement
• Must be certified surgical technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT required)
• 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Work on hybrid procedures involving both CVOR and Cath Lab teams
• Call required after 2:30 PM, weekends and holidays
• Weekend shifts vary based on staffing needs
• Expect to work some holidays
• Daily census of 10-15 patients per day in 5 rooms with 8 beds
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
• Skills include: CVOR procedures, CABG, valve replacements, vascular procedures, endovascular repairs, hybrid OR procedures
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must complete on-site drug screening
• All documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
• Texas license must be active before start date
• Start date preferred within next 3-5 weeks
