Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Work in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 rooms
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, State Licensed if applicable
• Travel experience required
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Participate in 4-person call team with 2 teams, every other weekend call
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Use Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week push back for non-compliance
• Skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, and various vascular interventions
