Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Work in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 rooms
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, State Licensed if applicable
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Call requirements: 4-person call team with 2 teams, every other weekend
• Holiday coverage: Work major holidays based on assignment period (1-2 holidays work all, 3 holidays work 2)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must complete clinical screening and manager approval process
• Perform various cardiac procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, interventional procedures, stent placements, and angioplasty
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment setup
• Monitor patients and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Assist with vascular closure systems and hemodynamic monitoring
