Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with holiday rotation
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float requirements: Yes, same expectation as current staff nurses, agency will float first
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cardiac experience required
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Free parking available
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adults and geriatric patients
• Post open heart surgery patient care
• Work with special equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• Hurricane season assignment awareness: May be assigned to emergency response teams during June through November
• Must complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted
