Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Shift may start anytime between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM - must be flexible with start times
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Travel experience required
• Must have experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, and valid state license
• All certifications must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submittal
• Epic experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience: 5 patients during day shifts
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 50 patients
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Complete modules during orientation (1-5 hours average) through e-learning system
• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician treatment plans
• Work independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures
• Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations and safety protocols
• May perform specific procedures and orient other staff to the department
