Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work either 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities
• Must be registered in echo (ARDMS with RDCS or RCS) and vascular (RVT or RCS) for adults
• Will consider candidates with CCI/vascular registry only as long as they can perform echo procedures
• Pediatric experience is a bonus
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications include ARDMS, RDCS, CCI, or RVT
• Must be proficient in various echo procedures including 3-D Echo, bubble studies, stress echo, TEE, and portable studies
• Work with adult and pediatric patients in ICU, emergency department, and outpatient settings
• 8-hour orientation provided
• Weekend coverage required with 3-6 weekend shifts per contract
• Must complete facility drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Complete average 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required

Facility:

This medical center operates a comprehensive cardiovascular imaging department with modern equipment and technology. The facility serves patients across all age groups from infants to adults, maintaining a daily census of approximately 80 patients with about 8 visits per day. The department features 3 dedicated rooms and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
