Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 3 years of open heart experience required
• Pediatric cardiovascular and vascular hybrid experience preferred
• On-call required with 4 call teams available
• Take an average of 3 days of call each week and 1-2 weekends per month
• Weekend call typically runs Friday 1500 to Monday 0630
• Call schedules: CV1 (1500-0630), CV2 (1500-2300), Peds (1500-0630 Mon/Tues/Thurs), Hybrid (1500-0630)
• Weekend coverage includes 2 call teams: CV and Hybrid
• Block scheduling may be approved with manager discussion during interview
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross
• Epic charting system experience required
• 64 hours of orientation provided
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 2 years minimum experience required for submission
• 50 mile travel requirement applies
