Opportunity:
RN - PICU
Job Details:
• Work night shifts with 36 hours per week schedule
• 13-week assignment with ASAP start date
• Minimum 1 year pediatric ICU experience required
• Travel experience is required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS (only AHA certifications accepted, RQI not accepted)
• Must have both Missouri or compact license and Kansas license
• Floating required between main facility and sister hospital in Overland Park, KS (approximately 12 miles southwest)
• Pass/fail medication/dosage test given first week requiring 100% to pass with 3 attempts allowed
• Scrub color: Any kid-friendly color or pattern
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking with permit
• Smoke-free facility

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
