Job Details:

• Work 5x8 shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with flex option 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Alternative option to work 3x12 shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Call required - up to 12 hours per week (Monday 7 PM through Friday 7 AM) and 12 hours of weekend call (Friday 7 PM to Sunday 7 PM)
• Every other holiday required
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 25 OR cases daily in 7-room operating suite
• Required skills include appendectomy, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, mastectomy, total joint replacement, and general OR procedures
• Must be proficient in code response, fire safety, infection control, specimen handling, and universal protocol procedures
• Compact license or MD license required
• Two supervisor references required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract preferred with no RTO during first two weeks
