Job Details:

• 3 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Block scheduling format with 1:1 patient ratios during days and nights
• 14-bed unit with diverse surgical specialties
• Float to other units as needed
• Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement
• New York nursing license required in hand to submit
• Required certifications: BLS, CNOR
• Experience needed in ortho-total joint and trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Extensive surgical skills required including laparoscopic procedures, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, bariatric surgery, ENT procedures, and general surgery
• Must be competent in code response, fire safety, infection control, laser safety, and universal protocol procedures
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours, total may reach 10 hours)
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
