Description
Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Up to 4 call shifts required every 4 weeks
• Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: Dec 24 & 26, New Year's: Dec 31 & Jan 1)
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs and between sister facilities
• 2 years of experience strongly preferred, first-timers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Serve patients including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Use EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Complete average 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

This Level I academic trauma center features a state-of-the-art Main Operating Room with 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties. The facility is a Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds, providing cutting-edge technology and comprehensive surgical services. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists in a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
