Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Provide pre-operative, Phase I, and Phase II recovery care for pediatric and adult patients
• Care for patients across all major surgical services including endoscopy, interventional radiology, and pulmonary lab procedures
• Work with 34 operating rooms across 2 floors, 6 ORs on 1st floor MHSC, 2 cysto suites, shared Pediatric GI/Lithotripsy room
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
• Work 2-3 scheduled weekends per contract
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty
• PACU or Pre/Post Op experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working with pediatric patients of all ages
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS (AHA certifications required)
• Epic experience required
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (address on driver's license to site address)
• Compact or Louisiana license in hand upon submittal required
• NURSYS reports must be submitted with profile (within 4 weeks of submission date)
• Special equipment experience: Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, Accuvein
• Must be available for "Emergency Team" assignments during emergency events
• Strict no call-in policy enforced
• Must be separated from facility for 1 full year if previously worked as permanent staff

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
