Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour shifts, either 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (schedule depends on experience and will be discussed during interview)
• Care for pre/post patients undergoing cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, TAVR, ablations, TEE, cardioversion, loop recorders, pacemakers, and vascular procedures
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during day shifts
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with cardiology and cardiac procedure diagnoses
• Work with special equipment including vein finder and bladder scanner
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of experience required in specialty
• PACU or Pre/Post Op experience preferred
• Travel experience required - facility does not accept first-time travelers
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Dress code: Royal blue or white scrubs
• Chart using Epic system
• May be assigned to "Emergency Team" during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility until event passes
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
