Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour shifts, either 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (schedule depends on experience and will be discussed during interview)
• Care for pre/post patients undergoing cardiac procedures including cardiology and cardiac procedures
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during day shifts
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform special procedures: LHC, RHC, TAVR, ablations, TEE, cardioversion, loop recorders, pacemakers, and vascular procedures
• Utilize special equipment including vein finder and bladder scanner
• Must have PACU or Pre/Post Op experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required in specialty
• Travel experience required - unit will not accept first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must use Epic charting system
• Dress code: Royal blue or white scrubs
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• May be assigned to "Emergency Team" with expectation to stay at facility during emergency events
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
