Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient ratios up to 4:1 during winter surgery periods with very high acuity patients
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to other units within scope of practice based on census and staffing needs
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• California nursing license required at time of submission
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• All certifications must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submittal
• Work on 20-bed telemetry unit managing cardiac drips, catheter lab patients, and CHF cases
• Care for patients with arrhythmias, post cardiac catheterization, and advanced heart failure
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with titration parameters
• Experience required with TR bands, groin site management, and FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
• Strong foundational knowledge of arrhythmias and symptomatic AFib/Bradycardia management essential
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average) through e-learning system
