Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios up to 4:1 with very high acuity patients
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to other units within scope of practice based on census and staffing needs
• 24 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of nursing experience required for submission
• Must have strong foundational knowledge of arrhythmias and management of symptomatic Afib and Bradycardia
• Experience with titrating cardiac medications, post cardiac cath patient management, and advanced heart failure essential
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CA License (must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submittal)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 50 miles travel requirement with locals accepted at local rate
• Care for patients with CHF, pre/post cath procedures, evaluation of CT surgery, vascular surgery, severe sepsis, AFib, ETOH withdrawal
• Manage post cardiac cath groin sites, TR bands, arrhythmias, and use vasoactive drips including titration with parameters
• Work with specialized equipment including Flo-patch, TR band, and cardio-mems
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
