Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios up to 4:1 during winter surgery with very high acuity patients
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to other units within scope of practice based on census and staffing needs
• 24-hour orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CA License (all AHA certifications must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong foundational knowledge of arrhythmias and management of symptomatic Afib and Bradycardia required
• Experience with titrating cardiac medications, post cardiac catheterization patient management, and advanced heart failure essential
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 50 miles travel requirement applies
• Modules completed during orientation (non-billable, average 1-5 hours)
• Care for patients with CHF, pre/post catheterization, cardiac surgery evaluation, vascular surgery, severe sepsis, AFib, ETOH withdrawal
• Manage post cardiac catheterization groin sites, TR bands, arrhythmias, and vasoactive drips with titration

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
