Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• 3 years of operating room experience required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Block scheduling available (will try to accommodate but not guaranteed)
• Call required with minimal RTO restrictions
• Patient ratio 1:1 during days and nights
• 14-bed operating room unit
• Must wear teal scrubs
• Float required between different surgical specialties
• Required certifications: BLS and CNOR
• New York license required in hand to submit
• EPIC experience is a hard requirement
• Must have diverse experience in orthopedic total joint and trauma, neurosurgery, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Extensive surgical skills required including general OR, bariatric procedures, cardiovascular procedures, thoracic surgeries, ENT procedures, gynecological surgeries, neurosurgical procedures, orthopedic surgeries, plastic surgeries, podiatric surgeries, and urological procedures
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
• Must be proficient in code response, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, and specimen handling
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours, total may reach 10 hours)
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy
