Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Hybrid CT and diagnostic role covering both CT and diagnostic departments
• Overnight technologist position in a mall neighborhood hospital setting
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, older adults, and geriatrics
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with and without contrast
• Handle musculoskeletal trauma imaging including cervical, lumbar, and thoracic studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Operate GE CT scanner, GE x-ray equipment, and GE portable equipment
• Use specialized equipment including Gulden patient lift and Ulrich injector
• Work with PACS systems and various imaging equipment from GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba
• Follow isolation precautions as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Experience with charting systems required (any system acceptable)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Weekend program available requiring every weekend coverage
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA fingerprints required and may require travel time
• Pass/Fail exam required for clearance with maximum 3 attempts
