Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Shift start times between 6:45 AM and 8:30 AM
• On-call requirements: overnight shifts on weekdays, weekends 24 hours each day, and holidays 24 hours per day
• Call required 1 day per week and usually one weekend per month
• Provide individualized nursing care for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge
• Work in 5-room operating room facility serving adult patients
• Must have 2 years of recent OR experience in community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility
• 2 years circulating experience required including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Conscious sedation experience and administration required
• Must be comfortable with GI cases and performing C-sections
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Complete orientation modules averaging 1-5 hours (non-billable)
• Access to interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
