Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call required
• Patient ratio of 5 patients
• Must live 150 miles or more from facility
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must be available to complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various surgical procedures including lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, thyroidectomy, arthroscopy, fracture reductions, laminectomy, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, and prostatectomy
• Must be skilled in fire safety, cell saver, blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol procedures, and wound management
• Orientation includes 6-8 hours of non-billable modules
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
