Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts in catheterization lab and interventional radiology
• Handle 8-12 case load per shift
• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month
• On-call duties approximately 7-10 days per month
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour call back guarantee
• Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in IR (required)
• Perform elective catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), RHC, STEMI, IABP and pacemaker procedures
• Skills include cardiac stent placement, temporary pacemaker, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, angioplasty, and maintaining sterile field
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• May float within hospital or to affiliate hospital nearby
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Chart using Cerner and McKesson systems
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS with IR experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine drug screening
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4-6 hours during orientation and annually
