Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required
• Must have 18 months true telemetry experience with cardiac expertise including titrating drips, pre/post cardiac catheterization patients, and experience with sheaths
• Cerner charting system experience required with no exceptions
• Travel nursing experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Must be willing to float to all competent units within the facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS; TNCC preferred
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score, including lethal rhythms
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Missouri RN license or compact license required
• Must complete 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs
• Pre-start modules required (4 hours for telemetry)
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in cardiac telemetry setting
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post-cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, drip titration, and wound care
• 13-week assignment duration
