Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required with minimum every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required to TICU, Med/Tele, and MS units as needed
• May float to other facility locations if census is low on home unit
• 24 hours of orientation required
• California RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN
• 3 years ICU experience required, 4 years preferred
• 2 years minimum experience required for submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census of 30 patients with 36 beds available
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, IV sedation, and management of various cardiac and neurological conditions

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
