Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work in split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular & Interventional Radiology
• 9-10 call shifts for 6-week schedule including weekends
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 1 year experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS
• Must work major holidays during assignment period as required
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Daily census of 16 patients with 3 rooms available
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Handle interventional radiology procedures including embolization, stent placement, and various catheter/drain exchanges
• Monitor hemodynamics and interpret dysrhythmias
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with room circulation
• Manage equipment setup and EKG lead placement
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and utilize rapid response protocols
• Must be available to complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
