Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to ICU/CCU patients utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Must live 150 miles or more from facility
• May be asked to float to a different floor or other campus
• Must have 2 years of experience in service line
• Required certifications: RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSS
• Texas RN license required in hand with submittal
• Travel experience preferred
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
• Must be available to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start
• Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours
• Must be well-versed in large variety of health conditions due to broad range of medical conditions encountered
• Maintain professional nursing standards while effectively interacting with patients and visitors

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
