Description
Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• Work 3 or 4 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for all shifts
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: NIHSS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Floating may be required to rehab unit as needed
• Care for patients with primary focus on pulmonary conditions including COPD, pneumonia, tracheostomy patients
• Manage high flow oxygen modalities, end stage renal disease, CHF, stroke overflow patients
• Handle alcohol withdrawal with phenobarbital administration, DKA with insulin drip, dialysis patients
• Work with vented patients with tracheostomy, sepsis cases, and pulmonary hypertension on Remodulin drip
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• 8-hour orientation required
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• No license hits accepted
• Manager interview required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
