Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Holiday obligations required
• On-call duties 11-12 days per month, including approximately every 3rd weekend
• 13-week assignment duration
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Missouri RN license or Compact license required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Cerner charting system experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Float to competent units within facility as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Complete pre-start HealthStream modules with strict deadline expectations
• Responsible for timely completion of all assigned modules throughout assignment
• Provide care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, CABG procedures, robotic surgery assistance, and various cardiovascular interventions
• Handle administration of blood products, conscious sedation monitoring, and specimen management
