Description
Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Work in Neonatal ICU with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week scheduled
• Weekend coverage required - prefer 3 of 4 weekends, minimum 2 weekends per 4-week scheduling period
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting system experience required - facility uses Cerner
• May float within Women's Services scope only (very rare occurrence)
• Block schedule accommodation requests will be considered but cannot be promised
• Must live outside 30-mile radius from facility
• Pending licenses not accepted - license in hand required with submission
• Request time off (RTO) should be kept to minimum for 13-week assignment
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Modules are non-billable, averaging 2-4 hours completed during orientation
• Compliance documents due Wednesday prior to start date

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
