Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Patient ratios of 5-6 patients
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 35 patients on 38-bed unit
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have Texas nursing license in hand with submittal
• Charting system experience required (Altera experience preferred)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Facility conducts drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (6-8 hours average)
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, wound care, IV management, blood product administration, and various medical/surgical procedures
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Must be at least 150 miles from facility location
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Hard document deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
