Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (overtime billed after 48 hours on 4x12 schedule)
• Patient ratios: 1:5 across all shifts
• Float within scope of practice as needed
• Rotating holidays and weekends required
• No block scheduling available
• 3 years of current and strong medical-surgical experience with strong telemetry background required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Additional preferred certifications: PCCN, CMSRN
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• Care for adult patients with various diagnoses including cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and post-surgical conditions
• Manage telemetry monitoring, interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Handle various procedures including IV management, wound care, chest tubes, and specialized equipment
• Complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules pre-start through Net Learning online portal

This healthcare facility is a community hospital featuring a 47-bed telemetry unit with a daily census of 44 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
